I think that honda toyota has better marketing then ford, chevy and chrysler. so people buy into the hype.
people love to support overseas and not their own back yard I think it's called the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
60% of the Components in all the cars are made by the same outsourced companies that's why here in Ontario the mayor of all the cities who have auto plants got together to discuss the future of their cities. you might be surprised to know that it was the mayor of cambridge who set up the meeting with ford, GM, chrysler and honda. it's toyota that is in cambridge so they are scared too if the big 3 go down.
but I have to say the commercials for Honda and Toyota are great they make me a canadian girl feel like a good ole american boy.
 
They are better made cars,better quality.
They cost more so the depreciation stars from a higher point.
