Why is it that girls only wear aeropostale and "scene" clothes?

Okay well I went to a skate rink for something my school held. I noticed girls were either wearing Aeropostale jackets or scene clothes. I was like the only one there that was wearing something that doesn't fit in either category =/ .Why can't people wear something DIFFERENT? Don't get me wrong, i like aero clothes and "scene"" stuff but i don't wear it like everyone else. It's overused along with peace signs.
EVERYONE thinks peace signs are "cool" and start wearing shirts with 20 peace signs on them. I just stopped wearing peace signs.
 
Some people are followers, who follow whatever everyone else is doing... bla bla bla, wear what you want, I am sure someone will appreciate that you do your own thing. I respect that.

Think about it! Like 3 years ago people didnt wear skinny jeans it was wierd looking. Wearing the shirts that say aeropostle is just whats in. You question is just like saying why is everyone wearing converse?? Think. Its just whats in and nobody can change it except fashion type people.
 
I don't know anyone who wears aeropstale or "scene" clothing, but I definitely see a lot of people who do. Some people really want others to know where there clohes are from so they wear clothes with the name posted all over it. I think it's dumb, too. You rock for going your own way! Hopefully your schoolmates will learn to do the same as they get older :)
 
I hate peace signs. So many people wear them now. I have like 2 shirts from Areo. I do like their stuff but I don't like it when they print their logo on everything. Thats why I don't shop there often. I also like some scene cloths but I don't go over board. I actually have a piece of clothing or an outfit from practically every trend. I don't follow just one trend because I think its stupid an unoriginal.
 
I hate "scene" clothing. I think it is trashy. I wear whatever I want, no matter what other people are wearing. But I do, however, like Aeropostale and their jackets are warm and durable.
 
I don't know where you live, but it could be a fad that girls in your town are going through. Scene has already passed in my town, and only the really preppy girls wear aero and hollister etc.
 
TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THE PEACE SIGNS.

People who are insecure have to follow people.
Their looks
Their ideas.

Everything.

So when you seem someone dressed that way, they are usually copying someone else, who is copying someone else, who is copying someone else, And so on.

I'm so over those kids that do that.
I walk in Kohls or Belk or Target and I find cuter clothes than I do when I walk in pacsun and see clothes that I KNOW 15394874203487 people will have when I get back to school.

Damn followers.
