Why is it that folks who believe in the bible seem to lose their ability to answer questions with just using?

their own words? I ask the question (why is it wrong not to believe in god) All I get are bible Scriptures. I even ask them to please answer with their own words, but still get only scriptures

Would not believing in god still be wrong even if there is no evidence to show a god does exist?
