Anyone can overcome adversity. It's all about making the right decisions. So, if someone is poor, they have to make the right choices/decisions/moves etc., to get out of that situation. So..........if you choose to not get out of poverty, you probably wont make other good decisions like, birth control, continuing your education or finishing high school or studying, etc. This also leads me to believe that poor decisions can also be brought on by stupidity, selfishness, laziness, etc. Hence the attitude that these people think the tax payers should pay for their housing, schooling, food, insurance, etc. Why should they be self sufficient when we the tax payers will provide everything. I don't know why these people feel entitled to this type of lifestyle.
