I'm 19 and I love Hendrix, Zeppelin, Johnny Winter, Roy Buchanan, BB King, Cream, Eric Clapton, The Who, The Doors, Chuck Berry, Santana, Johnny Cash, The Kinks, etc. I listen to newer music too, but almost no one knows who Im talking about when I bring up Johnny Winter and Eric Clapton. Why is it that people my age, give or take a year or two, have no idea who these bands are? [I kow the obvious answers, but this is more of a general wondering and I wanted other opinions.]
Why is it that almost no one listens to older music these days?
