Why is it so hard to get an answer on this forum regarding N95???????!!!!!

I have been on here for a couple days now trying to get very basic answers to simple questions but can't seem to get them.

I am rather confused why people can't give me answers to these.....

1. How do I delete mailbox folders... I created three email accounts (none of which work) and want to delete them... but i cna't figure out how to do so. There isn't an options. I don't understand why it is so complicated.

2. What chat program is best? I looked up fring but it doesn't do aim. Are there any good ones that do all of them? I found agile... is it any good?

3. Is there a mail program I can use where I can check my imap email without paying text message charges for each of the emails I check?

don't have an N95 so consider this an attempt at answering.

1. I assume your using the built in S60 email client....if so go to messaging>options>settings>email should have an option to delete from there.

2. Agile is one of the best out there, if you want to pay. Implus isn't bad also.

3. Profimail is a great program, although I don't know if it is compatible with the N95

hope this helps.

thank you so much for your help!

how do I go about installing agile? I downloaded an sisx file off their site for my phone but my computer can't open it... does this need to go on the phone itself? Is there anyway they can text me the software?

If you don't have Nokia PC suite (maybe you own a mac?) then get it. It will help connect your phone to your PC and allow you to transfer files back and forth. http://www.nokia.com/support

if you have a memory card, just move the file to the card and install from there. If not, PC suite will recognize the file directly from your computer and install while your phone is plugged in.

i love you

i am trying to get this all set up... how do i pay for agile? It seemed to give me the software free of charge?

Clarification (not intended to sound as harsh as it will)

1. There are million + threads on the N95. Just because you can't be bothered to read through them (or at least peruse the headlines) doesn't mean everyone else can be bothered to look up the answers for you

2. RTFM. It's in there for a reason, and that reason is NOT to add packaging weight.

A few hints about your N95:

1. It runs S60v3 FP1. Any application that's designed for S60v3 or S60 3rd Edition will run on it. Also, java apps (MIDP 2.0, .jar, etc) should run/install

2. For any OS questions (such as your email) it's not specific to the N95. Any N-series or E-series has the same OS, and therefore, same answers, with a few exceptions. Thus, a walkthrough of the email app on the E65 for instance would be just as useful on the N95.

If you follow/know the above, you'll be ALOT less frustrated with your purchase and this community. I've been on HoFo for several years and there's a ton of really really intelligent/helpful people on here. However, with so many members, it gets annoying to have people junk up the front page with threads asking questions that have been answered time and time again.

HoFo is a community, not a wiki. In any community, online or offline, it's important to contribute just as much, if not more, than you take away. If you took a few minutes to read through a few threads every now and again, regardless of the topic, I promise you'd learn something.

Sorry you got yelled at and probably flamed. Sorry again if I did it. Just trying to help you get started. You could also watch the movie linked in my sig. If nothing else, it's good for a chuckle.

i honestly saw a comment like that above coming.. however, i was sooo frsutrated that i couldn't get answers to these questions and really wanted to see if anyone could help me out... i downloaded agile and am using the 7 day trial... i got pc suite and am trying to figure out how it all works...

i still don't get the email and haven't figured out what to do

Really you should read the manual on that one. It's not difficult. When you're looking at your mailboxes, the left softkey is "options". scroll down to "settings", then down to "email", then pick your "mailboxes". Now you have them listed and can either press the "c" to delete or again go options - delete.

I was trying to be nice and help you understand how to get help in HoFo. Specially since xj911 specifically told you the same path I just did several posts ago.

"Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, feed him for a lifetime." Trying to keep you from starving, man.

Ricky has the N95 unseated your N73 as your fav phone yet? I think you mentioned on your blog or maybe it was one of the driving with the guru vids that said you was still keeping the N73 at the top of the list...for now..

I'm waiting on your answer my wife refuses to give up her N73me, even in the face of the fashionable E65, 5700me...she's very happy with her N73...i'm glad, saves me some dollars

Im surprised that johnny hasn't come in this thread and **** all over it. He's probably too busy fornicating with his fat ugly girlfriend. Just kidding Johnny. We cool right?? Uhh....probably not after what I just said....lol
