Why is it so difficult to get help with Sprint?

I spent an hour last week trying to make a payment on my son's account. I ask that my credit card be used only once. Thought the bill was paid. It wasn't as the untrained person I talked to didn't credit the account. So tonight, I spent 90 minutes trying to go through phone hell to find out why his phone wasn't working. After it was paid, the phone still isn't on. What's with Sprint? Does Sprint's 'powers that be' ever look into their system or know how untrained some of their employees are? It was a very frustrating 90 minutes and it still isn't resolved. I'd like to Occupy Sprint Street to wake up their corporate leaders. I do not blame the employees.
