I just had the starter changed on my '73 Monte - the mechanic said it was oil soaked. Now when I start my car from cold, I have to pump it 2-3 times to get her to fire (never had to before); and after a good drive, if I shut off the engine and try to start it right back up, it cranks like the battery is dying. What gives?
