This is a serious question lol so don't laugh, but I'm just learning to cook because I'm just starting to be out on my own, and I've been trying to learn how to cook Rice a Roni right, I've cooked it over and over again trying to get it right and it won't!!! It comes out all crunchy, and the problem I have with it is how long to cook the Vermecelli before I put the water in, I know it says on the back of the box until Vermecelli is golden brown, but do you know the exact time I should be cooking it for? What happens is it comes out crunchy, and either I burn the vermecelli or I don't cook it long enough so it doesn't turn brown. Please HELP!!! lol.

cook it about a minute
lower the fire when cooking the vermecelli so it doesn't overcook.
I don't even bother with it. It still tastes the same.
just boil the water, put the ingredients in, and wait 20 min., lower the fire for the last 5 min.
