even after the Cronulla Riots? Just when you think there not going to say it they do it. Don't they realise that immigrants from England and Europe had to put up with those demeaning words and treated like illegal aliens to live a peaceful life and settle here. They refer English as poms and Europeans as wogs and then they don't realise they were bullied. I guess this resembles the same thing with Italian immigrants in America. Does the media like to encourage or flam ppl is that why they had the Cronulla Riots?
And why is that they make jokes about cancer patients, austrian incestry, girl that got raped on radio and then I kind of see a pattern they keep doin it. ppl makes jokes because they dont know what its like to feel or imagine what happened. I mean standup comedians like Huesy and Petter Hellier are stand up comedians but they wouldn't go that far if its serious.
Im Australian and I like comedy but when ppl make jokes about cripples or a sick joke it makes it worse when they add in laughter or the crowd laughs with them its intolerable. pommie b*astrd is what they kept calling my father and his family when he immigrated to Australia they used to discrimate europeans e.g. italians and greeks by saying 'wog boy' this was in the past so why do they keep saying it on tv, its like they don't care they should get with the times what happen to moral decency?
I did a typo in that sentence 'also the australians used to..' not 'they' otherwise you think my family would be saying that ; -) because the word pom would refer to Pomerania would it?
