why is hunting considered a sport?

First off your being too one sided... Obviously your against hunting, which means, Your against creating a Stable Environment for animals to live in, It's considered a sport because you have to have sportsman like behavior while hunting... A hunter goes out and kills what he has tags for and then eats or makes sure that what he kills gets ate by someone, so as not to waste.. Now there are people that go out by a license so they don't get a fine and shoot six deer a season this isn't in my opinion hunting this is what i think is the rape of the natural world. There's my opinion take it or leave it, but without hunting we would die and if you don't understand that then maybe you should do research before you take high moral tones.

If cheerleading is a "sport" then hunting should be one too. Besides, it takes a LOT more skill to hunt than it does to memorize words and scream them.

First off--- if you actually knew anything about what your talking about, you'd support us hunters and be against slaughter houses. Do you even know what happens? Probably not.

It's called life-- EVERYTHING on earth dies at some point. You will too.. we all will... but I think I'd rather harvest an animal with one shot and kill it within the minute than watch wolves or coyotes eat the animal ALIVE.

My definition of Sport is the arrangement of something one can lose at, and one must do good work at just staying even. Much like God giving a criminal monkey species both free will, and the ability to see God's plan and works. As nuclear weaponry slowly slips into the hands of criminal terrorists imagining all sorts of excuses for evil behavior, God HUNTS for ways to inspire individuals to make enough positive changes to save the situation from extinction of mammals. It's gonna be close!

Yes, it is enjoyable to hunt. Very relaxing and zen. Man going back to his evolutionary beginnings, eat what you kill, man vs. beast, etc.
