why is high school sports unfair?

okay so i am a 15 year old boy and my baseball team played a team with a girl on it....or my football team played a team with a girl on it....why is it that a girl can play a guys sport if there is a girls similar to it
(like softball baseball) or why can they play football.....yet i or any other guy is not allowed to play in a girls sport if it is not offered to boys such as volleyball???? this is a double standard why is this allowed?
 
I 'm a mother of two 13 year old boys who play sports. I have daughters too....MY opinion is that boys do there thing and the girls do theirs. I would not let my daughter join a team of boys,.so your answer is yes they are unfair......
 
at my high school we had girls on the wrestling team and boys on the dance squad. It is a double standard. If any boy you know really wants to play volleyball, their parents should bring this to the attention of the administration. Equal rights work both ways.
 
That's really weird. Where I come from all team sports are mixed. Boys play netball and volleyball. Girls play football. You have a weird school.
