still a question)? You have hair all over your body so what makes pubic hair disgusting? It's just hair. Dead cells just like your skin and the hair on every other part of your body.

I can understand why people think it's annoying. I won't disagree with that. But to go as far as to say it's unhygienic? I just don't understand. But why people go to such lengths to get rid of it is beyond me. Waxing is painful and unnecessary. Shaving is just as pointless. It leads to infected hair follicles, razor burn, itchiness - and for what? A temporary five-hour smoothness. Totally not worth it.

Trimming I have no problem with though. It tells me that you're still comfortable with being a post-pubescent human while not leaving the room to be compared to the Amazon.

I'm a bit of a feminist, so maybe that is why I'm so against getting rid of body hair. But the same goes for guys. I would hate it if my boyfriend shaved off all his pubes. Ew, just the thought of it is repulsive.

Please, someone help me understand why people think having pubic hair is so disgusting to have.
I'm fine with people shaving and waxing. I don't care. It's just so annoying when people tell others to shave/wax just because that's what they prefer.
 
People think pubic hair is unhygenic because if you sweat down there, the smell can be unappealing to some and it also makes oral sex unappealing (both points are for men and women but moreso for female oral sex). But I believe that you should do what makes you happy and not what your partner or society expects. If they don't accept whatever choice you choose then they aren't worth your time.
 
Nobody thought this way until recent years, when porn stars decided to start shaving. Sorry, I'm not a porn star! Hairs are there for protection.
 
I don't have a problem with pubic hair, or think it is disgusting. I prefer it, especially a neatly trimmed one.

To me, having no hair down there is nasty, because it reminds me of prostitutes who shave it off to prevent crabs.

personally i hate all body hair except for the hair on my head, eyebrows and eyelashes. I just don't see the point of it lol. I think as a woman you feel more feminine when you smooth hair free body. As far as pubic hair, its much easier to clean down there when you have your period for example. I guess its just what society right now is like, feminine = hairless and masculine = hairy.....i know not everyone feels this way, but this is the way i feel about myself, probably ridiculous but i can't help it =)
