Why is god on money and also used in court rooms?

money was never intended to be a government controlled entity when the constitution was written....so God was not connected to government, when the constitution was made and signed....the government was to work for the people...now people follow the rules of government.........what a change of events huh?

Because our founding fathers saw fit to include God in every part of our society and rightfully so. The separation of church and state said nothing about separation of God and state. It was set up so all faiths could worship without the government interfering in the church's affairs. So even though you may not like it churches and God are a large part of our society just like many other things I'm sure you don't like but this is still a free country where we are to respect the rights of others. Your rights end where mine begin and that's how it's always been. It would be illegal if someone was forcing you to attend a certain government sponsored church which has never been the case.

Having God on our money and not doing what God said do is a joke. He said owe no man anything and the borrower becomes servant to the lender. And yet the genius's in Washington have tied up the wealth of many future generations in debt.Jesus also said that when a man wastes his talents, take from him the talent he has and give it to the producers of wealth.Liberals want to do just the opposite. Take from the producers and give to the irresponsible.
You liberals have taken God out of our schools. How did that work out for you?Metal detectors. Shootings. It isn't the guns. 100 years ago in rural schools, kids would bring rifles to school to use to hunt on the way home. That was when the bible was the main text.

Thomas Jefferson:

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.

When our country began and the constitution was written, almost everything centered around God. Funny how as soon as they changed that, our country began to go down the toilet !!! For years and years things in our country got better and better and better. Then it was decided by some misguided people to separate church and state. It was then that our country in soooo many areas began to take a nosedive. How sad.
