Okay, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the series, and I LOVE Dexter and Doakes too, but seriously every episode I watch there's another fugly individual introduced who makes watching it literally painful. My eyes are already very poor as well!! Now, I didn't start watching the series until last week too because, as I told my sister, the show is too ugly for me to watch. Little did I know that the more I saw the uglier it would get! I DID NOT THINK that possible 
-- let me list a few of the fuglies to give you an idea of what I mean: Deb(!!! her MOUTH man), Laguerta (ditto), Dexter (sadly), Dexter's bro Rudy or Brian whatever, Rita (not so much ugly as horribly annoying), Rita's ex Paul, British girl in the Addicts Anonymous meetings (yuck!!), ugly brunette thing at the car dealership (season 2) that thinks Dex is coming on to her -- and so on. Please can someone explain this? Does anyone agree? Does this have to do with the theme or something??
I just believe wholeheartedly that TV should be an escape where us normal citizens can kick back and watch beautiful people act out impossibilities something like LOST...anywho, PLEASE REPLY ONLY IF YOU THINK SO TOO AND HAVE SOME HYPOTHESIS AS TO THE REASONING, Okay? cheers
