Why is everyone complaining about lack of freedom?

I think that if it is legal to post this question or talk about the 'new world order' in public we have quite a bit of freedom. In some countries we would get arrested for posting a question like this.

It isn't so much lack of freedom as it is restrictions placed on your freedoms. You have to pay for your freedoms, and if you can't afford to pay, then your freedoms are restricted. Either you restrict every freedom or you don't restrict any because that is pure bias. You will understand when obese people have to pay triple for their food costs. ;-)

Because they have taken freedom for granted and now want to push for rights they don't deserve. People think the government owes them a living but as Kennedy said, "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." We have too much freedom and no one seems to appreciate it. We think that we "deserve" to walk around with guns, rape children, sue people for no good reason, collect welfare when we are quite able to work and so much more. It has to end somewhere. Nikita Krushef once said that "America will destroy itself," when he was asked by a reporter if Russia had plans to bomb the USA. I think he has a point. Freedom is wonderful so long as we don't abuse it.

No disrespect sir, but you are an idiot through and through. Do your research. If you {and I'm talking to YOU} can post this question that is because it's for Mr. Obama, or benefits him in some kind of way. Basically you aren't a detriment to his low rep. Try posting a question against him, I bet it will be deleted in a matter of secs. If your eyes were opened and you weren't so indoctrinated then you'd see how Obama is trying to take away our freedoms. EXAMPLE: watch your neighbor claus. If you know what that means then I guess you're ok. By the way you should tattle on me because I'm AGAINST FACIST OBAMA.

I guess there trying to say this is the beginning of communism. Whether thats true or not depends on who you talk to?

This complaint is nothing new. they've been saying this since the 1800's that we have no freedom. Shay's rebellion.

"A wise and frugal Government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and not take from the mouths of labor the bread it has earned...this is the sum of good Government."

Thomas Jefferson

Ok, what you are doing is comparing our political system to external political systems rather than actually comparing the intention of what our political system was to be, as opposed to what it has become and is becoming.

What you are saying is similar to. "I have a brain tumor" -"well there's a guy in china who has 2 brain tumors plus pancreatic cancer".
Does this make that brain tumor any less serious?

People who think things are good because they aren't that bad, are completely confused.
