Why is Danica Patrick getting so much media coverage for being such an ok driver?

I first want to say I am not the biggest fan of Patrick's. I do not feel that she deserves so
much media coverage. What has she won in racing? She began to get big in 2005 for
leading the Indy 500 but only finishing 4th. She only won 1 race since her Indy car debut
in 2005. When Helio Castro won a ton of races, Dan Weldon is way better and she is
not even as good as Sarah Fisher and where is Sarah's media coverage. Ok so she is
hot and she has a good personality. Only exception would be her violent temper!! And
watching ESPN they had a picture on Danica not the current Nationwide Champ. There are
also better ARCA drivers who are worthy to race a Nationwide race at Daytona more than
her. And Danica races and wrecks the car and finishes in the 30s. Folks she is not a good
racer so why are the other driver getting so disrespected.

same reason Dale Jr gets so much attention for being an ok driver , the media loves them and they are popular with the fans

She is the first OK woman driver. she makes an impact and the media eats it up

Because she's pretty and appears in sexually suggestive Go Daddy commercials. That's the sad but true bottom line.
