Why is Bill Clinton seemingly trying to stay out of this election race?

I saw him on Letterman the other day and he said nice things about McCain and didn't really seem to be endorsing Obama. The only thing he did say was that he hopes Obama wins because he is a fellow demorat. Not a hardy endorsement... More like a hardly endorsement.

Is he trying to sabotage Obama so Hillary can make another run in 2012?

Oh please. Clinton staying out of the limelight? He's been on at least one talk show a day for the passed week & I see where he's booked for another. He doesn't care who wins so long as people pay attention to him.

I am demo crate and i am going vote for Obama, but i am hillary supporter.i am voting because dem.how Obama/supporters treat her, what can you accept from her husband?plus when he make personal mistake[not crime]in white house how nation treat him?how he forget that.he respect party that's more than good enough.yes i wish Hillary can make in 2012.Obama didn't make important them, why should they does?

lol McCain doesn't need his support. Bill was an unpopular president (never got more than 40% of the vote) who dragged this country through the mud.

I imagine that he'd like for McCain to win so Hillary can run again in 2012.

He and Hillary walk a fine line...

I saw him on "The View" and he was the same way on it, he gave McCain more praise than he did Obama...he said either man would make a good president.

He is walking a tightrope, trying to make sure Obama loses, without looking like he is trying to make sure Obama loses.

I am sure we can look forward to more "Damning with faint praise" from him.

By the way, did you notice the mancrush he has on Todd Palin? That's funny stuff right there.
