Why is Audrey Kawasaki's oil on graphite on wood art focused on erotic adolescent girls?

I recently discovered an amazing artist named Audrey Kawasaki. Then I dug deeper into her work (world) and was surprised by her interests and shocking (interesting) art style. I do know by her work that she is primarily motivated and influenced by manga art (style) and Art Nouveau. Aside from her astounding realistic yet magical perception of female body language and story telling, I was estranged by much of the lesbian erotica focused with the young girls. The lesbian eroticism was typical, but the outlook of the females portrayed in her beautiful artwork irked me. Why is it that the females are so young? What and why do you think?
I understand that not all of her work is based on lesbian erotica, but I am only asking why her portrayals (even though are illustrated beautifully) are so young and often nude.
