I would like to know why are CPA's important for businesses?
My goal is to become one. I am taking college classes majoring in accounting and plan to do a dual in finance.
I heard that by law your tax or financial reporting to the IRS needs to be signed by a CPA.
I know in order to be a CPA you need to sit for a test to get licensed.
I just wondered if a CPA is always needed. Kinda like doctors or pharmacist can only deal with medical drugs. So you need to be licensed to get the drugs. So is a CPA as important as a pharmacist or a doctor?
Or is a CPA not legally needed for anything. They are just used to help or assist you with finical problems?
