Why if adam and eve were perfect and in a garden perfectly protected, would "god"

The Book never said it was perfectly protected.
It was just exclusive like a gated village.
Adam and Eve were not even perfect and if God is perfect which He is, He could not have said, "Now that they become like us, knowing good and evil........." which would only mean they were made with less but pure knowledge of what is only good and it is not perfect but just "innocently" good.
Innocent is entirely different from ignorant and it is innocence that is bliss and not ignorance.

If he didn't since it already existed, then he would have done away with Satan the cherub angel anointed over Eden, Eze.28:13-15; Eve with
Adam [ none would be here as their offsprings ], as they knew better than to listen to this cherub angel as a ventriloquist using the serpent to talk, Gen.3:1-5; they knew the fact perfectly,"do not touch the center tree, lest ye die," Satan and angels do not die, Luke 20:34-36; so at year 6075 [ of the 6130 years given Satan ], Satan is still alive.

The Scriptural account, therefore, makes it plain that it was Satan who spoke through the medium of a serpent, seducing Eve into disobedience to God’s command. In turn, Eve induced Adam to take the same rebellious course. (Ge 3:1-7; 2Co 11:3)

At Revelation 12:9 and 20:2 God’s principal opposer, Satan, is referred to as “the original serpent,”
God is the only Creator, and ‘his activity is perfect,’ with no injustice or unrighteousness. (Deut 32:4) Therefore, the one becoming Satan was, when created, a perfect, righteous creature of God. He is a spirit person, for he appeared in heaven in the presence of God. (Job chaps 1,Â*2; Revelation 12:9) Jesus Christ said of him: “That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.” (John 8:44; 1John 3:8) Jesus here shows that Satan was once in the truth, but forsook it. Beginning with his first overt act in turning Adam and Eve away from God, he was a manslayer, for he thereby brought about the death of Adam and Eve, which, in turn, brought sin and death to their offspring. (Romans 5:12)

God wants true worship and the way to find out if we are loyal to Him is to give us a choice. Without a choice, there can be no loyalty.
If you had a choice to marry someone who was programmed to obey you, or who actually loved you from deep within their heart, which would you choose to spend eternity with?
God wants our love.
