Jugs is like, 17 or something. You have to have a gun licsence to own a gun, which, in most places, you have to be 21. A sword is much more practical in this case.

We also need samurai swords for when oil runs out and no one can get bullets anymore. Either that or stockpile bullets. But I like the idea of a backup sword.

Oil has to do with everything, since everything in this country runs on oil - including the machines that make bullets. Duh. Why do you think the cost of everything goes up when oil prices rise? It's not because oil is IN these things, but because oil is used to produce them.

Are you kidding? The manufacturing process of everything requires oil. What planet do you live on? Not to mention that I was talking about a hypothetical dystopian future where all oil has run out and the world is in chaos, which would mean a sword would come in handier than a gun because bullets will be incredibly finite. But yeah, um, oil is used to manufacture them. :rolleyes:
 
Although by now we are entirely off-topic, EVERYTHING bought or sold today has some sort of oil dependence... if it's not actually in the product, it is in the production, or the transportation, or the packaging... EVERYTHING.

That's why there WILL be a world war when we run out of oil.
