Why I keep losing track images in ITUNES?

Sometimes when I click to play a song I lose the number of tracks of the CD and then I lose the CD Image. I've checked them all with the mp3val program so I guess there´s nothing wrong with the archive. I really don't know what to do and it seems it's not a common issue. Thanks for your answers.
