Why I broke up with my Nokia N95

he mentions it being a bug in the video on that webpage, that's why i was wondering. i also remember seeing a n95 with an asian woman with a nice voice that mentioned that it stayed in landscape until you needed to enter info via the keys.

oh and pat i haven't forgotten about ya, i just still can't decide what to do, you can see from my sig that i am trying to sell the e70

Remember that it is FP1 device.. means more functions built in & means more processes running in the background as part of OS. So you cannot simply compare it with any other phone.

In addtion to FP1.. it has built in GPS receiver, who knows what could be running in the background?

If you need more juice then why not carry extra battery? I always have a charger in the car, at work & charge all my phones in the night. With N95, I charge it one more time during the day just to make sure I have near full charge. But I never ran out of juice.

I agree with Jonny why Nokia could not put BP-6M battery when the battery compartment can accommodate it

i dont know How SE does it...but Nokia needs to learn from SE...My k790a lasts almost all day browsing, talking etc..and its only a 900Mah battery,

you're comparing the N95 (year 2007 that does almost everything a computer can do) to old nokias made in early 2000's thats black and white and only does calls and text?

Thats like saying a farrari is guzzling gas at 8 miles to the gallon compared to an old toyota four banger that can get 45 miles to the gallon. you can't compare them my friend.

I'm not sure what the mah was with my s700 and s710a batteries but theirs were less than stellar. I used to snap a lot of photos with the S710 but it's battery would wear down pretty quickly nonetheless.

From full charge, I get about 5 and 1/2 hours continuous mp3 listening only via stereo BT headset before getting first power-low warning. No calls but texted a couple of messages.

Yeah... I dunno if I could handle a phone that wouldn't be able to last through a flight when just listening to music. You don't always have a power outlet ready...

Before judging the battery life of a new device you have to go through about 5-10 charge cycles to get the battery in shape for maximum use. I've found that my N95 battery life has gone from disappointing to pretty good over the first 2 weeks of using it.

I hear ya. I kinda want to go back to Symbian, but they really need to improve battery life first. Until then I will stick with my K790a. I know the N73 has a better battery, but it lacks A2DP and thats a key feature I use.
