Why haven't we gotten the Yu-Gi-Oh! R manga...?

I know there is a version on the net, but its untranslated, so I would cough up the money to Viz to read it (unless it was censored in some way, then they can keep their crummy version and feed it to the kiddies)...if they had it...


So what's up with Viz not getting this?
 
I assume it's because Viz wants to focus more on the GX manga since it has an anime tie-in airing in the states.

They have mentioned it a few times in Shonen Jump, so there's still a possibility that they might release it. I would definitely buy it if they did.
 
I agree with D Dubbs that they may want to focus more on the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga since it can tie in with the anime series that is still airing on television. I'm sure that Viz will release that series at some point, especially if they have mentioned it in Shonen Jump. I don't read Shonen Jump, but since they have apparently metioned it then there's a good chance of it coming at some point. I would so buy it if they did. It sounded like an interesting side story from what I've heard about Yu-Gi-Oh! R.
 
I actually wish they didn't reveal it so soon. Its the beginning of February and October is too long a ways off. But I guess I should just be glad were finally getting it.
 
Alright! That's awesome news. It's even cooler that I'm hearing about this on my birthday too.

I also agree that it feels like a long wait between February and October. At least I'll have volume three of GX in between that wait. I would imagine that they wouldn't have problems with releasing two different Yu-Gi-Oh! manga at different times of the year. At least I hope that's the case since I still would like to read the manga version of GX since it is so great.
