I dunno, but read books that you wouldn't normally read.Interesting ones. That may inspire you to write your own stuff.

I love writing, and am currently working on a book. I am about 55 pages in... but I haven't changed that at all in three months.

I basically wrote my 55 pages in three months, but, then, for some reason, it was... just boring... to me.

What can I do to get out of this block? (Well, I don't know if "block" is really the right word. More like un-interest)

Please and thank you.

I also haven't really been feeling like writing at all. Nothing.

What's wrong?

You can do one of two things. You can either not worry about it, do other things, live life, and eventually your inspiration will probably come back. Or else you can sit down and make yourself write a page, or five pages, or however many, every day whether you feel like it or not, and sometimes that works to bring your inspiration back. Both approaches can work for different people, but either way, think about your story and why you're writing it in the first place. Think about the audience you're writing it for, even if that audience is only in your mind at this point. Think about what the basic theme of your novel is, and what made you fall in love with the story in the first place. That should help you also. Good luck! :)

It happens to everyone; it happened to me. I would ignore it and let yourself take a break for awhile. It's easy to get frustrated or tired when writing a book. If you really don't think the idea is good or interesting anymore, don't scrap what you've started, but you could start a new book. Then maybe later you'll feel like coming back to the first one.

i get it all the time
and
i have got that at the moment i feel like its not worth it and its crap etc

what i do is i write short storied about anything that comes into my head whenever i feel like it

Whatever you do, don't force it. Wait until you feel like writing and it flows again. If you've been writing in order then pick a scene that you know is coming up in your book that's exciting and write it. Either that or (just for fun) take your characters and throw them into a situation that is totally absurd and see what happens. You might not use it at all for your book but you'll get to know your characters better and it might bring you out of your slump. If the writing isn't gripping for you to write, it won't be gripping for the reader either. Good luck!
