Why hasn't Will Smith won an Oscar yet?

The guy is a really good actor, he makes nice movies but he is yet to win an Oscar. He has played many roles, done many great movies but only has 2 nominations and not a win. Why hasn't he won yet?
 
there are better actors than him that have never won. have you seen how long it took for morgan freeman to win?
 
If you watched the Oscars, he told you in his speech. He likes action/adventure movies, movies with fans. These movies are generally overlooked by the Academy.
 
I was just thinking about this today he's a really good actor and has been in alot of great movies he really should win one.
