why has yahoo messed about with the home page.?

switched on this morning and yahoo said take a sneak preview of the new home page. I did and its horrible and you cant get rid of it either

They have taken the weather and mail of the main page and stuck it on the side. Why don't they leave well alone.
 
I think microsoft have taken ownership of Yahoo, hence it being unreliable and mostly broken... It's nearly as rubbish as Vista...

Seems to be the same with everything - it all changes eventually. Not always for the better, either.

I looked at the new page when I logged on this morning, I don't like it at all. I had seen it before - occasionally once I logged into Yahoo, up that would come instead of the old one. It took me ages to figure out how to get to Answers, I didn't like the layout at all. At least with this sneak look that has appeared today it has little bubbles that explain things when you roll over things.

It will take a bit of getting used to, though. If you do click on it, just click the back button in your browser, that should take you back to the old home page.
 
i agree, and i told yahoo what i thought of the new home page by email, there is a way of getting your favourite home page back, but i cant remember how exactly, i think i got up the home page for singapore, then opted for uk and ireland, but some one will know an easier way hopefully in answers.
