Why has the term "Global Warming" been changed to "Climate Change"?

Is it because the Earth started getting cooler than was predicted? How will paying money to some entity reverse "climate change"?
Another part of the question;
When I read about the ice caps melting and uncovering artifacts that were long buried under several feet of ice....how did the artifacts get there to begin with? Common sense would say that it was once warmer there before it was covered in ice and snow.
 
Well some wise guy went and checked historical records and found that 1934 was actually hotter than 1998 worldwide and some liberal clown at a cheap university in New York freaked out and altered the records from the rest of the world to show the world is overheating while it is really cooling off rather rapidly. It is very interesting to see actual temperatures approaching those of 1910 while the liberals are reporting new record highs hotter than anything ever recorded. The entire problem is a freak religion trying to take over and enslave the world while the world is dropping off into a serious new ice age. This entire mess is going to get both seriously funny and crazy over the next 5 or 6 years until things get cold enough to freeze the global warming crazies silent.

The real problem is that those who promote the AGW agenda know very little about science and how things really work. The sun is the source of 98% of the energy that warms the earth.

It's always been climate change to educated people. Most people couldn't understand what that meant, so someone said "It means it's gonna get warmer, stupid!" Thus, global warming has stuck with us.
 
It hasn't. They mean different things. Global warming causes the climate to change, meaning it will have different rain patterns, wind patterns, ocean currents, etc.

The Intergovernmental Panel on *Climate Change* was formed in 1988. If you can accept that fact and still believe that the name was recently changed then your denial is pretty extreme.

because GW isn't happening so they had to come up with some other doom and gloom propaganda and vala climate change, that way if the temps go down they are right,if the temps go up they are right amd no matter what happens they can tax us more, work towards their utopia of 1 world government controlled by that utopian organization the UN,oh wait a minute they are the ones that ran oil for food,yea lets make them in charge
