Why has my kicker amp gone into protection mode?

Hey Guys,

I was running my kicker KX1200.1 amp with a kicker L7 12" and it suddenly stopped.

I was investigating and found the amp has the red "protection" LED on instead of the normal green LED.

The wires seem allgood, any other ideas how to get my amp up and running again?
