Why has my car stereo system randomly started to cancel out the vocals and guitar solos?

I reset my head deck (JVC KD-R600) and my amp (TMA T2 320) to their original settings. I dont have a noise filter or anything. I have changed the EQ on my head and no luck.
 
more than likley there is a short in your wiring causing the sound to fade i would start by checking all connections and speaker wiring , good luck
