why has my 07 chevy aveo stop blowing air out of vents when I turn on the a/c or heat?

It has been working off and on. One day the air is blowing out fine and the next day nothing at all, Just had the engine replaced back in august and hoping to avoid costly repair. Hoping it's something I can fix myself, just need to know what the problem is.
