I have been doing ALOT of reading and i found that having a comprehensive metabolic panel (blood test) can't detect cancer, well my question is then why even get a blood test we all get blood test to prevent serious ilnesses like cancer, but if it doesn't detect it then why even bother? i go to my doctor for the main reason of being healthy so i dont' get cancer, yes there are other illnesses that can be prevented by a blood test but my opinion is that cancer is the main reason why i go for my check ups. maybe i am crazy but that is how i feel does anyone agree?
why even get a blood test??
