Why E60 isn't so popular?

Small size, Slim profile, wifi, 16 Million color screen, High reso, strong and reliable "nokia" reception, 64 MB shared memory, Push to Talk, Li-Ion 970 mAh (BL-5C), VOIP, MMC expandable...........And yet, I have ONLY SEEN 2 people talking about it here in Nokia S60 section.

i think many people were willing to give up the camera for a full qwerty keyboard and email solutions with the e61.............but when u compare the e60 and e61, the portability of the e60 is the only main advantage and the e61 is 14mm thin anyways, so its really only dimension problem is the width which most people overlook

That was it for me...I didn't really care about the siz of the e61. I thought it was going to be a lot bigger then it really was, with the way people were talking about the size.

i sitll havent decided.. im leaning toward e61 becasue if you are gonna go with wifi you might as well have a full keyboard and big screen for internet and apps

^ the battery, quad band and wide screen, made decide for the e61... besides, if you need a s60 bar that is without a camera, might as well wait for the e50...

I was considering the E60, but, here were the differences

E61 -
+miniSD
+big screen
+qwerty
+Quad band

E60 -
-RS DV MMC
+ a bit smaller

When you take the prices of both + a 2G flash memory card, the E61 come only 20-30$ more than the E60, because the RS DV MMC card is more expensive than the MiniSD. Looking at that, the E61 seems a clear winner for most people. The E60 is more for people who REALLY don't want the largeness of the E61. I care about the size, but the E60 had so many factors going against it.

Like everyone else in the US, the no camera and missing 850 was a deal killer even though the keypad and form factor are desireable. But, we have the E50 coming (soon?) to fill those gaps! If only they slapped wifi in it...

I wonder, how many people use a camera on their phone & how often? I have a cameraphone, but dont use the camera feature that often. And how good is the MP3 player?

flickr tag search for tag "cellphone": 33,000+ hits
flickr tag search for "phonecam": 34,000+ hits

And that's just flickr. Most of the people I know use their phonecam daily, even if it's only to send pics back and forth to their girl/boyfriend. So take those sample flickr numbers and multiply by a bajillion and there's your answer.
