Why don't people realize that deficit spending is nothing more than a tax

hike that we have to pay interest on? Ok liberals, get ready for Econ 101

When the government deficit spends, do you think that money comes out of thin air? All it means is one of two things:

1) they print more money. This leads to inflation, which means regular Americans pay more for goods. This is essentially a tax for the government overspending.
2) they make future generations pay for it with interest. That is also a tax increase, and one that defies this country's founding principle of "no taxation without representation" since future generations aren't being represented right now.

So why do liberals act like deficit spending is not a tax hike? One way or the other, we have to pay for these trillions of dollars this government is frivolously spending.
