Being loud and being right are two different things. It is not over. As for application of what is in the Health Care insurance Reform bill, we are moving to the Swiss model. They have lower premiums than we do and spend less for similar results to the US. See the link below and scroll to the bottom of the page to get Swiss health system in a nutshell. The only new wrinkle would be the public option, which would an improvement to the Swiss model.
 
Yes, but it's not the time to ease up. Marxism is like a foot fungus or head lice -- you shouldn't discontinue the ongoing treatment once the initial symptoms disappear

The debate was won by the liberals last November 4. The question of whether to end the current system was decided that day. The only thing left to debate is how to fix it.

Well, lose the debate and win the war is still their option. I guarantee you we'll get a "foot in the door" health care 'something' our of the B-Ho white-house. Remember, medicare started about 35 years ago as a small poorly funded program. Today medicare is out of control and sadly President Bush helped that happen with prescription drug add on.
 
This reminds me of '94, when the debate actually was lost. The Republicans were already picking out curtains for the White House, cause there was no way Clinton would win in '96. Don't count your chickens yet.
