I think Dr.Phil said it best. You cant change what you don't acknowledge. If I were to raise the topic of STD's in black people, the glorification of selling drugs to buy big rims, number of crimes committed by them (us) then the always predictable response is basically that it is not true yada yada. I'm black and I look at this and cant see why someone would want to defend this. I think it would be better to say you know what maybe acknowledging this will open it up for discussion and people will be more accountable for their actions. If you deny deny deny Then how can we change?
Why dont black people acknowledge some of the true stereo types about them?
