petty jabs & insults? Alot of Republicans don't seem to get it. They are trying to make this election about Obama's middle name or his Muslim heritage. I mean... atleast with us Democrats we go after McCain for his policy and things that actually matter. I am getting tired of Republican supporters constantly trying to take issue with Obama's middle name being Hussein... as if that in some way ties him to Saddam. Or calling him a Muslim which he's not and even if he was... it's not a bad thing. I know it might be a shocker, but not all Muslims are terrorists. I KNOW RIGHT! If a extreme christian group crashed planes in the WTC would all christians be terrorists? These Republicans are the ones that just ignore the actual issues because they know they are wrong. I like how they say WE are drinking the Kool-Aid of Hope & Change... well I'd rather be drinking that Kool-Aid then piss water of hate and selfishness most of you choose to drink. Atleast I can respect the ones that debate and discuss why they support McCain, but typically those conversations usually just denograte into the petty insults most Republicans spew when they realize they have nothing else to say and feel defeated. Now aside from all that and my frustration... this election is really bigger then those kind of politics... it's a very important election... it's about making things better for ourselves and the people we care about.

Because Obama has suceeded in making this an American Idol campaign, and the uneducated are falling for it. 95% of Black people are voting for him; I wish they would learn to understand the issues.

Palin is the one who made this into the American Idol/Enquirer election.

I totally agree with you.

In the real world, this elections is super serious. That's why I want Obama to win. He is the only one running who can help solve this mess we are in both nationally and internationally.

McCain is just the same old same old.

But here on YA it's a different matter. Everyone just tries to outdo one another. This is just stuff and nonsense/

People are treating this election like it's a sporting event and completely abdicating their duty to be responsible consumers of information. They believe every fool thing that trashes the opponent and elevates their candidate, truth be damned.

I think it's painfully clear at this point that Washington is not going to be able to save this country. It going to be up the the American people to do it for themselves. Live within your means. Buy American. Help you neighbor. Consume less, contribute more.

Hanes is closing 5 plants in South Carolina, costing American workers 1200 jobs. They are opening a plant in Asia that will employ 2000 workers. Who are you going to buy your underwear from? Politicans aren't going to stop this hemorrhaging. Only the American consumer can put an end to it. PAY ATTENTION, PEOPLE!

For the first time in the history of this nation, workers salaries have decreased and corporate profits have increased for 5 consequetive years. Are you doing better now that you were 8 years ago?

Pay attention and vote the issues, or you won't have anyone to blame but yourself when the country goes to hell.

I don't care a toss about the petty insults and the name calling and all that garbage. I have, in all honesty, been very disappointed in supporters of Obama during this campaign. I have never seen dems so mean and obnoxious. I'm a person who never votes a straight ticket...I vote for the person, not the party. But this year, for the first time in my life, I will be voting a straight ticket because the dems have nothing to offer this year. And the supporters are just plain mean!
