Why don’t consumer protection agencies in western cultures protect consumers from
religious scams? I mean, they protect consumers from every type of scam except religious scams, and religious scams are probably the most common type of scam and the probably most profitable. It’s almost as though consumer protection agencies have a “If you’re dumb enough to believe that nonsense, you deserve to get ripped off” attitude towards religious consumers; do you think this is how it is?
