Yahoo has several hundred readers, some of whom do not understand the wit and social commentary produced by the 10+ contributors. But everyone seems to know who killed Jo Yeates.
Yahoos would invest in new DumbDown technology created by Google, so every single article ever written by anyone on the site will immediately be cleansed of long words, intricate storylines, metaphors, references to scientists, politics, economics, certain TV and films, and many other things.
It's simple really, Google Trends have found that many comments about the site have been similar to 'I don't get it'. Using DumbDown, we can make sure they do get it.
The sentence "And so, with many brobdingnagian incidents, President Obama attempted to pass the bill which would provide Americans with standardised healthcare" would be understood by many.
However, with Google DumbDown it looks like this:
"There were lots and lots of trouble for Mr. Black Leader to make sure that his idea would get chosen by the people to give them lots of plasters easily."
Notice the lack of any punctuation.
