why doesn't this flash file open on my mac?

i have an imac running os x 5.3 and i have flash player version 9.0.124.0 installed. i have a flash file on a cd and i am unable to open it, the files come up as a terminal application or it opens in a text file and i am unable to open it in flash.
the file is okay as well as i am able to run it on a pc.
any suggestions or downloads to help me open this flash file would be greatly appreciated as it is quite important.
 
hmm. i dont think your OS supports an intel processor correct?

if thats the case, u may be missing the key ingredient.

if its powerpc then u are a moron and screwed
