I once watched a foreign film called "The Sea Inside" and throughout the movie, the main character repeatedly makes the point that life is not worth living if it has no dignity. I agree! The pat-downs the TSA recently put in place are robbing us of our dignity. The TSA claims that these ignominious policies are necessary to "save lives," but saving lives is NOT WORTH IT if you have to dehumanize people in the process. I would rather die in a terrorist attack, maintain my dignity, and be a martyr than continue living and have no sense of self-worth because life without self-worth is no life at all. IF YOU CAN'T PROTECT US FROM TERRORISM WITHOUT SACRIFICING OUR HUMANITY, THEN DON'T PROTECT US AT ALL!
