I've been trying off and on to come off Oxycodone...I take about 3 to 4..sometimes 5 roxy 30's a day...(I know that sounRAB horrible,but true)...I tried Suboxone the other day for the first time..I did exactly what I was told by waiting until I was in full w/d...After I took my first dose of suboxone, which was 4mg, I knew that it wouldn't make me high, however I had heard that it was this miracle drug and that it was supposed to get rid of your w/d symptons....however,to make a long story short, I took my first dose of sub about 10am, and I waited and waited and I didn't feel any relief of my w/d symptoms, so then I took another half of an 8mg sub (4mg)...I thought for sure that might help,but it didn't do anything...All I can say that happened was that it blocked other opioRAB from from working on me, however, the good thing was even though the opioiRAB did not make me high, they did get rid of the withdrawal I was experiencing...but it was very shocking , since suboxone is supposed to be this miracle drug...I'm not sure what the deal was....I knew it wouldn't make me high, and that's not what I expected, however I was just certain it would take away my withdrawal symptoms and it DID NOT..I'm confused!...does anyone know what's going on?
