The bike wont run at all unless the choke is at least 1/3 closed, even after 5 mins to warm up. At this point the bike will just barely idle then surge up to 3 or 4K then ease back down to 1 or .5.
Tried turing in the idle screw, about 6 turns, didnt have any effect.
Fuel filter is clean. Put some carb cleaner in the gas and drained the carbs. The gas in them seamed alright. Let the bike run with the carb cleaner, no change.
Looked at the spark plugs, gaps were right. The right one had the normal black dust on it, the left was white.
The tube from the air filter to the left carb wasnt on properly, fixed that but didnt change anything.
Took the top off one of the carbs, but you cant see into them, the needle looked clean.
