HD has a problem. It's called "technology". It's taken them 50 plus years to develop a "new" engine, and even though they are "nice" bikes, they suffer from a lack of technology (save for the most recent years). Eric Buell is amazing in his vision and his ability to put a slightly different motorcycle out there for us to enjoy, but HD seems not to pay much attention to anything outside their own front door.
And there'd be more of a demand if the bikes didn't cost so much. Why buy a HD cruiser when I can get a Honda or Kawi for 11 grand less and have the piece of mind knowing I'll do more RIDING and less WAITING for it to be repaired?
