Why doesnt cricket

I went with Cricket after being screwed by Verizon month after month. I would sign up for $10 (or whatever it was back then) for 1000 Text messages per month. They would charge me $10, and then still charge me per text message. I got tired of arguing with them to remove the extra charges. This type of stuff happened on a monthly basis. Their phones lasted only 6 months, and replacing them meant signing up for another one to 2 years of indentured servitude. I like Cricket

not sure on that one, but they do just give the nuraber out like a serial child molestor gives out candy. all you have to do is ask for it and as long as the rep knows what you're talking about they'll give it to you.

Centro is a nice one. I have always liked the flat rate providers because I hate dealing with all the hidden charges that the bigger companies try to slip in on you.

Yeah, sometimes they don't know. I had to get my friend's SPC and I called 4 times before I got someone who gave it to me, even he wasn't sure it was what I was asking for.

$99 with a 2 year contract = $400 retail, generally speaking.

That's not terrible, since Cricket sells the KRZR and RAZR which are both in the mid-300's, but I doubt they'd sell very many of them, because they're not "cool".

I've never met a cricket user with a krzr, and only 4 who popped for the RAZR... all are kiRAB in their teens or early 20's who's parents pay for their phones...

people buy them. trust me. not a lot, but there are people buying them. the great thing about the moto's is the lack of a physical cricket branding on the phone. a lot of people buy them specifically for that. If the KRZR wasn't selling at all Cricket would not have picked up a second color.

I'm sure they're selling, that wasn't my point... My point was just that MOST phones cricket is currently selling aren't the high end ones. I'd be willing to bet they sell 4 slvr's for every krzr they sell, and I'll bet you they sell 2 $50-100 phones for every slvr they sell.

well to cricket's defense, when 99.99% of the calls are: "How much is my bill?", you don't need someone to speak perfect english. especially when three button presses in the automated system will tell you your balance.
