Why doesn't Chicago have any Pride when it comes to Sports?
Chicago is the greatest city in the universe. But when it comes to Sports we have no pride and no desire to win. The fans and the media are so soft and never pressure teams to win.
This is the one and only area where I wish we were more Like New York. How many times have we heard athletes in the major sports say that playing in Chicago is like a vacation as there is no pressure. But on the East coast or anywhere else, especially New York there is so much pressure to win from the fans and the media who actually care that you must go 100% in those cities.
I just do not understand why we care so little about our sports team here in Chicago with the wimpy media and wimpy fans? Is it just no pride or what?
