I am making a website but when they register, it shows this...

Warning: Unknown: Your script possibly relies on a session side-effect which existed until PHP 4.2.3. Please be advised that the session extension does not consider global variables as a source of data, unless register_globals is enabled. You can disable this functionality and this warning by setting session.bug_compat_42 or session.bug_compat_warn to off, respectively. in Unknown on line 0

It still makes their account and everything works fine but I don't want it to show this error. How do I edit my script so this won't show?
I don't want to have to edit any PHP files..like the original PHP installation files. Is there any way to fix this by editing my webpage source?

it would be helpful to see the code! Put it up here so we can help. If you are pulling global undefined data then you are really putting 0/Null values in
