Why does This Morning support all these non-celebrities?

Why does This Morning support of these failed D-Class Celebrities and keep offering them work?

All the time they just seem to have the most pointless people on there - doing the papers, presenting the competition etc.

I.e.

Paul Ross
Joe Swash
Sam and Mark
Lesley Joseph
Jason Gardiner

...it just seems like a complete ITV love-in in which TV personalities without a career and without a great amount of talent continually get air time. Fact is, I don't care what Joe Swash thinks about the economic crisis...and I doubt anybody else does either.

♪Money... money... money...♪

The less they spend on the guests, the more they can afford to give away in their ridiculously easy competitions, designed for all to enter and thus increasing their revenue...

except Eamonn Holmes' waist measurements

Him & Ruth got married over the weekend, we won't be hearing the end of it in the coming Fridays.

I'm not sure about that but the pointless Saturday and Sunday shows which are basically repeats from the week before interspersed with links are the first nail in the coffin.

Oh yes, I forgot its the time of year when they wheel out Eamonn & Ruth's understudies (ironic that they're everyone elses :D) before they present for the entire summer. This year its Peter Andre () and Kate Thornton.

If they're intent on saving money then I would suggest scrapping the programme altogether, something that should have happened a long time ago.

ITV is a haven for these trashy Z-listers who are 'in between jobs', i.e. they're not wanted by anybody else.

The BBC with adverts was the original blueprint for ITV and one that worked very well in the early days. Until the nineties ITV, apart from some of their sitcoms and entertainment shows, was very good and appealed to all ages and classes. Now it seems fixated on serving redtop tabloid readers.

This really is true - ITVs schedule seems to be the only home for these desperate talentless Z-listers.

I wonder if ITV executives look back and think "where did it all go wrong?".
