In the mid summer here in Connecticut, the nights can be more uncomfortable than the day, even though its hotter during the day. During the day, the breezes blow and create a nice flow of air throughout the house, moving air and making it comfortable. But when the sun goes down, all winds cease immediately. There are of course rare nights when its windy or stormy but for 90% of the time the wind just stops when it gets dark. The house then becomes stagnant, dead air and i need to use a window fan to help cool it down. Why?
